RFP/ Proposal Writer Specialist Summary:
Chetu is seeking a full-time Proposal Writer to join our dynamic marketing team. As Chetu's RFP Specialist, you will work to write, submit, and respond to Request for Proposals (RFPs), Request for Information (RFIs), and Invitations to Bid (ITBs) to generate new business opportunities and strategic growth incentives.
RFP Specialist Responsibilities Include:
- Interview and work with subject matter experts to extract information and articulately communicate high-impact documentation that meets the applicable standards for each specific RFP / ITB / RFI.
- Write, create, and aggregate materials into a final, professional presentation.
- Source RFPs to identify proposal requirements to ensure projects align with Chetu's scope.
- Coordinating proposal processes, including submitting questions, responding to letters of inquiry, discussion notices, and agency correspondence.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Technical Communications, English, Computer Science, Political Science, Criminal Justice, Journalism, Business Admin, or other related fields
- 2-3 years of relevant technical Writing / Communications experience, showing proven experience working in a writing position
- Strong written and oral communication skills (both in-person and over the phone)
- Able to write in explanatory and procedural styles for multiple audiences
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, corporate environment
- Highly organized and able to generate and share regular reports and work on tight deadlines.
- Self-motivated individual with the ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Results-oriented
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in basic Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Immediate start availability is preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
